Brookshire Grocery Co. (BGC) announced today that it will be opening a Spring Market store in Sterlington, Louisiana.
“We are very excited to open a Spring Market store in Sterlington which gives us an opportunity to further serve our Louisiana neighbors,” said Brad Brookshire, Chairman and CEO for Brookshire Grocery Co. “We have served the greater Monroe area for nearly 50 years and look forward to a great future ahead with an expanded team in the Sterlington community.”
The Spring Market store is scheduled to open in early summer with a grand opening celebration. The company will host a hiring center closer to the opening and will publish information on that soon.
Based in Tyler, Texas, BGC is a regional family-owned grocery business that employs close to 16,000 individuals throughout Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. The company operates more than 180 stores under the Brookshire’s, Super 1 Foods, FRESH by Brookshire’s and Spring Market banners, along with three distribution centers and corporate offices.
