With last year being his inauguration year as president, Dr. Ronald Berry will formally be conferred at the upcoming investiture being held at the University of Louisiana Monroe on October 1. An investiture is a traditional celebration that is held when someone is given a role of higher status. This year's investiture will be located at Fant-Ewing Coliseum on ULM's campus.

Lisa explained "Dr. Berry is so humble. He always wants to provide an opportunity for our students to show the impact that we can make for them. We have two staff members who have authored a children's book talking about ULM and the class of 2031 can present this book when they arrive. Upon presentation, they can receive a $500 scholarship."

RSVPs for this event can be sent to investiture@ulm.edu and the ceremony will begin at 10:00 A.M. on October 1. Pizza with the president for students will immediately follow the investiture in Fant-Ewing Coliseum Concourse. A jazz brunch will be held for staff and faculty at 11:00 A.M. at Bayou-Pointe.

Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, Harper Innis is a Vocal Music Education major at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. His ambitions are reinforced with a strong will as he always tries to spread joy to the ones around him.
