Monroe Chamber of Commerce announces open nominations for the Thomas H. Scott Award of Excellence

MONROE, La. — Nominations are now open for the 2025 Thomas H. Scott Award of Excellence, an annual honor recognizing businesses and organizations in Ouachita Parish for their impact on job creation, capital investment and community involvement.

Presented by the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, the award highlights outstanding contributions across several categories: Small Business (1–10 employees), Medium Business (11–50 employees), Large Business (51–100 employees), Corporate (more than 100 employees) and Nonprofit Organization.

The deadline to submit nominations is April 18, 2025. The awards reception will be held on May 15, where finalists and winners will be recognized for their achievements and dedication to strengthening the local economy and community.

Nominations can be submitted online through the Monroe Chamber of Commerce website or in person at the Chamber office. Organizers encourage community members to participate by nominating businesses and nonprofits making a meaningful difference in the region.
