Teachers from across the state attend the Effective Professional Practices Conference at the University of Louisiana at Monroe next week.
The university's TEACH Project Manager and Program Coordinator Tiffany Jackson says the sessions present valuable insight for new teachers and school-level administrators.
"One presentation will share on teachers creating a highly-customized classroom management plan," says Jackson. "Another session focuses on instructional coaching. Administrators and principals will receive training in professional development."
The conference is made possible in part by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. It is held on August 3 &4 at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
