Wow! Thanks to you, KEDM will provide books to every second grade student in schools in twelve schools in Ouachita, Lincoln, and Union Parishes that are part of the United Way's Read. Learn. Succeed. program!
Thanks to you, KEDM staff and volunteers will deliver over a thousand books before the holiday break. These books will enlighten and inspire young readers, as well as help build home libraries.
You trust KEDM throughout the year to find new ideas, people, and music. This season, your support of the station that brings you that joy of discovery also unlocks the door of reading for a child in our community.
It takes a pencil to write a story, a book to open a mind, and a small donation to make a difference. Thank you for making a difference this holiday season!
Our thanks to program sponsors, and to the talented students who came to lend their voices to the campaign. Please enjoy some of the excerpts by our local readers!
