MONROE, La. — More than 50 works by student artists are on display during the University of Louisiana Monroe’s 28th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition, running March 25 through April 27 in the Bry Hall Gallery.
Each year, students submit up to four original pieces for consideration. A guest juror selects the final works to be featured. This year’s juror, Brooke Cassady, assistant professor of studio art and gallery coordinator at Louisiana Tech University, reviewed more than 140 submissions for inclusion in the show.
A public reception will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, with an awards presentation at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served, and the event is free and open to the public.
Bry Hall Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday.
