(Monroe, LA) Mayor Friday Ellis announces City of Monroe facilities will be closed Monday, June 19th, 2023, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. We will reopen Tuesday, June 20th, 2023.
The trash schedule will be as follows: Garbage normally collected on Monday, June 19th, 2023, will be collected Wednesday, June 21st , 2023.
***We are asking residents to put their trash out the night before to ensure it’s not missed during pick-up. Our crews are starting earlier to beat the summer-time heat.***
