Ouachita Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported shooting in the 3300 block of Old Sterlington Road at approximately 11:00 p.m. July 20, 2023. Deputies located a victim at the scene with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, whose identity is not being released at this time, was taken to the hospital for treatment. The investigation into the shooting is continuing and no further details are available at this time.
