City of Monroe Presents Rollin’ on the Riverfront

The City of Monroe and Mayor Friday Ellis once again present Rollin on the Riverfront, a local event that features food provided by a number of food trucks including: Kona Ice, Toukas 318, Blue Taco, Taste of Love, and others. There will also be a performance by ULM's Sound of Today's Brass Knuckles at 4:15p.m. as well as The Main Street Band at 5p.m. Also beginning at 5p.m. is a new addition to the event, River Remix, where guests can sample food made by members of the community and at the end vote for their favorite.

The event will take place from 4p.m. until 8p.m. at the Monroe RiverMarket, 316 South Grand Street, and be sure to wear gold in support of #ONEROE

Originally from Monroe, Louisiana, Blaine McKeithen is a Communications major at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He plays the drums and spends most of his time making music with friends, along with music and video editing. He believes that his time is best spent creating things that can be shared with others.
