ULM will be celebrating homecoming week starting Monday, October 23 and continuing until Friday, October 27. With various events being held each day throughout the week for students to attend.
The week's featured events begin with a faculty & staff vs. students softball game at ULM's softball Complex, located off Warhawk Way adjacent to Brown Stadium, on Tuesday, October 24 at 6:30p.m. Followed by the University Mile, a race through ULM's campus, on Wednesday, October 25. Participants are asked to be at the Liew Family International Student Center at 5:30p.m. Then, beginning at 5:30p.m. on Thursday, there will be a parade through campus following Northeast Drive starting at the Student Center, and ending at the Fant Ewing Coliseum. Immediately following the parade will be a pep rally at 7p.m. and fireworks after at ULM's Pecan Grove.
There will be Several events taking place on Friday, October 27. Beginning with a Golden Society dinner which honors ULM"s Class of 1973 who are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their graduation. This will be at 6p.m. in Bayou Pointe Student Event Center. Also on Friday, both at 7p.m. there will be a Greek Happy Hour at the Laird Weems Center as well as the 2023 Homecoming Pharmacy Alumni Tailgate which lasts until 9p.m. at the ULM College of Pharmacy. Lastly, the NPHC Homecoming Step Show will be in the Fant Ewing Coliseum. Their performance begins at 8p.m.
Saturday, October 28 starts off with the Good Morning Gala from 10a.m to 12p.m. at the Bayou Pointe Event Center. There will be a DJ, photo booth, as well as food and drinks. Winners of the Golden Arrow and the Rising Young Alumni Awards will be recognized as well as the 2023 Homecoming Court.
Tailgating kicks off with the Pharmacy Super Tailgate in front of the ULM Baseball field at noon on Saturday. Shortly after at 1p.m. Pecan Grove will open spots 65 & 66 for Alumni Tailgating. Admission is free to Alumni Association members and $10 for guests.
Finally, The ULM faces Arkansas State with a 4p.m. kickoff at Malone Stadium. General Admission Tickets will be $15 and students may attend at no charge.
