Alexey Marti will be performing a concert for the season finale of West Monroe's Ouachita Live on Friday, October 27 from 7 to 9p.m. at Alley Park in Downtown West Monroe. The event will feature a Halloween costume contest so while costumes are not required they are encouraged. There will be no admission, the event is free to enter and there will be food trucks and spirits on site.
Alexey Marti will be returning by popular demand for a second year in a row. He is a New Orleans local since 2007 and a long-time featured artist of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. He is originally from Havana, Cuba where he began playing congas at a very early age, it was then he discovered his love for music and decided to pursue it as a career. His band is made up of musicians from all over the world and they perform throughout Louisiana.
