Dubach Police officer arrested on drug charges

Dubach Police Officer, James Patrick McCullin Jr., was taken into custody on multiple charges, including Distribution of Schedule II CDS, Possession of a Firearm During a CDS Felony, Possession of Schedule I CDS, Possession of Schedule II CDS, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Malfeasance in Office. He is currently being held at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center after his arrest at the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office. McCullin had been working with the Dubach Police Department for about 2 years.

The arrest followed a comprehensive investigation carried out by the Lincoln Parish Narcotics Enforcement Team, Criminal Investigative Division, Drug Enforcement Administration, Louisiana Attorney General’s Office, and the Louisiana State Police. Sheriff Williams expressed appreciation for everyone involved in the case and stressed that it is still an ongoing and active investigation.
