Traffic amnesty program offered by Ouachita Parish District Attorney's Office

The Ouachita Parish District Attorney’s Office has a 6-week traffic amnesty program for
people who received traffic tickets with due dates prior to February 1, 2024, and did not pay them by that date. If you pay your overdue ticket through the program, the District Attorney’s office will waive late fees owed to the DA’s office and recall warrants. The program does not waive any fees you might owe to the DMV or other state agency.

The program lasts from March 20, 2024, through April 30, 2024. Tickets due after January 31, 2024, are not eligible for the program.

To receive information on how to pay your ticket, contact the District Attorney’s office. For quickest response, email the District Attorney’s office at traffic@4thda.org or info@4thda.org to receive information on how to pay your ticket. You may also appear in person at the District Attorney’s Office located in Ouachita Parish Annex building at 400 St. John Street in Monroe or call the Traffic department at 318-388-4448.
