(Monroe, LA) - City of Monroe announces that city run facilities will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. The City will reopen on Thursday, June 20.
Trash pickup will not be affected.
The Monroe Transit System will also be closed Wednesday, June 19 and continue normal schedule on Thursday, June 20.
Monroe City Courts will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, resuming scheduled business hours on Thursday, June 20.
Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo will remain open to the public.
