New women's chorus strikes A'Chord in Ruston

Located in Ruston, Southern A'Chord is a new women's community chorus welcoming members from various parishes in northcentral and northeast Louisiana. The group performs cappella singing and invites women of all ages and backgrounds, with or without formal singing experience to join. The performances liven up events and venues, and vocal instruction is offered as a part of the chorus experience.

The group will hold it's first meeting September 12 at 6:30 at the Presbyterian Church in Ruston at 212 N. Bonner. More info can be found at Southernachordchorus.org or on Facebook.
