(Ouachita Parish) – On September 28, 2024, Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at Smoker’s Express, 518 Lincoln Road in Swartz. Upon arrival, OPSO was able to obtain surveillance footage, identifying Jamerrian Thomas, 20-year-old black male, and Jayden Juneau, 20-year-old white male, as suspects. Arrest warrants were issued for both parties involved. Thomas, while seeking treatment for minor injuries, was arrested and charged with Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instruments, Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property. Juneau has not been apprehended and no photo available at this time.
This case is still active and under investigation and expect arrests to follow.
