Louisiana Blue, Healthy Blue, and Entergy Louisiana volunteers to pack meals at Monroe convention center tomorrow

This event is part of Volunteer Louisiana’s and Feeding Louisiana’s statewide Million Meals for MLK campaign. The initiative launched last fall and aims to collect 1 million meals for Louisiana food banks by the end of January through donations, sponsorships and community service. This event will be held at 10 a.m.- noon and located at 401 Lea Joyner Expressway, Monroe, LA, 71201

Volunteers will assemble at Monroe Convention Center and work in teams to pack “oh seaux good” red beans and rice meal kits for Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana.

This event is for Louisiana Blue, Entergy Louisiana and Healthy Blue employees only. Food banks and other organizations are hosting volunteer and donation events that are open to the public throughout January.
