The 8th Annual Poor Man's Run is back for another year. The event is about raising money for families who are in need of medicines who are not able to get them. Also, this event includes a 1-mile fun-run, 5K run, and an awards ceremony to wrap things up. This event takes place on Saturday, March 8th at 8:00 a.m.

- 8 a.m.- 1-mile fun-run
- 8:30 a.m.- 5K run
- 10:30 a.m.- Awards Ceremony
To participate in this event it will be $30 for the 1-mile fun-run with a T-shirt included, $35 for the 5K run with a T-shirt included, and $25 for a T-shirt only. For the refund policy you must contact the organizer to request a refund. Eventbrite's fee is nonrefundable the link is below.

Ouachita Valley Road Runners will be timing the race and refreshments will be provided throughout the course. Runners' packets can be picked up from University of Louisiana Monroe College of Pharmacy from 2-7p.m. on Friday, March 7th or between 7-8 a.m. the day of the race.
