The Northeast Louisiana Arts Council announces their yearly BLEND fundraiser. Known as the "biggest party for the arts," this event features food, live music, live paintings, drinks and a silent auction. There is also a food competition where some of the top local chefs will present their best meals. Attendees will have an opportunity to bid on original works from a great lineup of artists in northeast Louisiana as well.
KEDM's Cory Crowe sat down with Barry Stevens, president and CEO of the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council, to talk more about BLEND. "It's the granddaddy of all arts fundraising events in northeast Louisiana," claims Stevens. With all of the festivities offered, Stevens says its simply, " A great time visiting with friends, and enjoying the afternoon."
The fundraising event will be on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 5:00-7:30PM. It will take place at the TCE Lobby of Clarke M. Williams Innovation Campus.
Tickets can be purchased now on their website for $65, and people also have the option to become an annual member. Tickets can also be bought at the event, but they will be slightly more expensive. Tickets are all-inclusive. All proceeds benefit the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council's programs and services.
