Clara Rae is following her musical dreams to Nashville and beyond

Clara Rae's heartfelt music is making waves in Nashville and beyond. The singer-songwriter talks with Cory Crowe about her career on 'The Black Curtain'

The Black Curtain spotlighted the talent of Clara Rae, a singer-songwriter hailing from Northeast Louisiana. Known for her powerful voice and emotionally resonant music, Clara has been steadily carving out her place in the music industry.

Clara recently took a significant step in her career by auditioning for the television show American Idol. Traveling to Nashville, Tennessee, she joined over 120,000 other hopefuls vying for a chance to showcase their talents on a national stage.

In addition to her American Idol journey, Clara has been dedicating her time to creating new music. She is currently working on a new album at a Nashville recording studio owned by James Cook. Cook, originally from Monroe, Louisiana, is a seasoned musician and former bass player for country music superstar Luke Bryan. In addition, the Tijuana TrainWreck Horns from Austin add a soulful punch to the new project. This collaboration promises to deliver a compelling and polished body of work that highlights Clara’s unique artistry.

During her visit to The Black Curtain, Clara Rae delivered an unforgettable acoustic performance at the 90.3 KEDM studios. Her stripped-down set captivated us and showcased the raw emotion and authenticity that define her music. Following the performance, Clara sat down with host Cory Crowe for an interview, offering a glimpse into her creative process and aspirations.
