Leaders Against Litter to be held at West Monroe City Hall

Leaders Against Litter will take place on Monday, April 7 at 10 a.m. on the steps of West Monroe City Hall located at 2305 N. 7th Street. Local community, business and elected leaders are invited to participate in the event and pledge their support for a clean and litter-free community.

Following the press conference, there will be a cleanup in the neighborhoods surrounding City Hall. Supplies will be provided. The public is welcome to participate in this event.

The Leaders Against Litter will serve as the kickoff to “Love the Boot Week” hosted by Keep Louisiana Beautiful across the state. Love the Boot Week is Louisiana’s largest litter removal and beautification effort, happening April 5-13. Through Ouachita Green and the many Keep Louisiana Beautiful affiliates in Ouachita Parish, dozens of cleanup and beautification events will be held throughout the community as a way of demonstrating how Ouachita Parish “Loves the Boot.”
