NXTPRO Sports's 2025 PUMA shoe circuit making a stop in West Monroe

It’s the largest youth basketball circuit in the U.S. The circuit will host 55 events over the course of 14 weekends this spring and summer seasons. WMSE will host two of those stops. In 2024, NXTPRO Sports saw over 2,400 young athletes receive offers to continue their education through the game of basketball.

“Our youth basketball circuit has seen tremendous growth over the last 24 months; growing from 35 events in 2024 to 55 in 2025,” said NXTPRO Sports’s Marketing Director Scott Thompson. “Our circuit serves as a platform to give young people the opportunity to compete at the highest level in grass roots basketball and provides a platform for college coaches to evaluate their talent.”

Each team will arrive on Friday, April 4 and play games beginning 6 p.m. that evening, followed by all day games on Saturday and Sunday. This youth basketball circuit is expected to draw in an estimated economic impact of $399,977.75 for Ouachita Parish.
