Bayou Jamb launches official NFL girls flag league

Games will be held at Brady Fields in West Monroe, providing a top-tier facility for athletes to showcase their skills. Registration is now open through April 20th at bayoujamb.com.

Girls of all skill levels are encouraged to join and become part of a community that promotes athleticism, leadership, and camaraderie. To help kick off the season, an informational meeting will be held on April 17th at 6:00 PM at Rec at Seventh Square 1802 North Seventh Street in West Monroe.

“We’re excited to provide this incredible opportunity for girls to experience flag football in a supportive, competitive, and fun environment,” said Patti Thurmon, CEO of Bayou Jamb. “With the backing of NFL FLAG, we’re excited to watch these athletes grow and excel.”

In addition to players, we are actively seeking volunteer coaches to help mentor and guide these young athletes. No previous flag football coaching experience is required—just a passion for working with youth and building a positive sports environment.
