Man Pleads Guilty To Possesing Firearm

A Shreveport man pleaded guilty Monday to possessing a firearm. 

 

Neikedrian Edwards, 27, of Shreveport, La., pleaded guilty  to one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. According to the guilty plea, Edwards who pawned a .45 caliber pistol on November 14, 2014 in Shreveport. He had a prior felony conviction and was not lawfully allowed to possess a firearm. Records showed that Edwards had filled out paperwork and used his identification card at the pawnshop.

 

Edwards will be facing up to 10 years in prison, three years of supervised release and a $250,000 fine.
