A bookkeeper for a north Louisiana high school has pleaded guilty to malfeasance in office after being accused of theft.

The Caddo Parish District Attorney's Office says 54-year-old Bridget Lee, of Shreveport, entered the plea Monday before state District Judge John D. Mosely Jr.

Lee, who worked at Woodlawn High School, was caught after a surprise audit revealed more than $2,000 missing. She was given a suspended 18-month sentence and 18 months of supervised probation. She also must make restitution to the Caddo Parish School Board.
