Gov. Edwards visits Monroe to help boost vaccination rates with $100 gift cards

Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards visited Monroe to help bolster vaccination rates.

Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has been working hard to get more Louisiana residents vaccinated. Today at 9:00 a.m. he will visit the Monroe vaccination center at the University of Louisiana Monroe. 

Recently Governor Edwards expanded the state's 'Shot for $100' program. The programs started as a way to get college students to get their jab by offering a $100 gift card. The programs has been opened to the general public. 2,800 gift cards remain at ULM and are being offered at the ULM vaccination center in the Student Union Building on campus.
