Regional Response Team 8 returns after being deployed to South Carolina to aid in Hurricane Florence search and rescue efforts.
"At approximately 3:15 this afternoon, our firefighters returned home safely. I want to thank everyone who has prayed for them during their deployment to the South Carolina coastal area. I should mention that this multi-agency response team is always ready to respond to a disaster no matter the location," Chief Terry Williams.
The sixteen-member team that was assembled for this deployment consisted of eight (8) Monroe firefighters, seven (7) Ouachita Parish firefighters, and one (1) West Monroe firefighters.
