Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators are currently investigating a pedestrian hit & run accident that occurred at approximately 10:15 p.m. last evening, January 19, 2022. The investigation indicates the pedestrian was struck by an eastbound vehicle
on Standifer Avenue in south Monroe that subsequently left the scene headed east toward U. S. Hwy. 165. The pedestrian is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
