This is a chance to check out the variety of creative careers thriving in Ouachita Parish. The business tours will include radio (Radio People and Stephens Media Group), television (KTVE), publishing (Bayou Life Magazine), in-house communications (Vantage Health Plan), digital advertising (Digital People), and independent advertising agencies (Great Minds and Newcomer, Morris, and Young). Students will receive a FREE lunch, gain tips from area professionals, and participate in networking opportunities! This opportunity is open to ALL ULM students (undergraduate and graduate).
The Student Agency Crawl will begin at Bayou Pointe at noon with a welcome, lunch, and a few speakers from the Ad Club of NELA. Transportation is needed to navigate the business tours. Upon arrival, an itinerary and map of businesses will be handed out. The crawl will conclude at KTVE Studios in West Monroe at 4 p.m. If a student completes the crawl, their name will be entered to win one of two $50 Visa gift cards.
