Lexi Cannon
News & Public Affairs InternA native of West Monroe, Lexi is a junior at the University of Louisiana Monroe where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in communications.
Lexi began her career in communications as a freelance audio/video producer through her small business Tux Productions. Lexi worked to create advertisements and documentaries for local businesses and ministries throughout North Louisiana. She also launched and produced “The Real Deal of Real estate” a local podcast featuring realtor Hannah Givens of French realty in West Monroe. Combining her passion for both ministry and production Lexi has also served the resident of communications for First Baptist Church of West Monroe.
In her free time Lexi enjoys competing in triathlons, acting, singing with the ULM Chamber Singers, and serving as the treasurer for ULM’s American Choral Directors Association student chapter.
Lexi currently serves as the director of music at Rayville Methodist Church and resides in West Monroe where she enjoys spending time with her family and fiancée Travis.
