Run for the Red, White, and Blue honors Memorial Day with 5k race and fun run

The Chennault Aviation & Military Museum is set to hold its annual Run for the Red, White & Blue 5K/1K event this Memorial Day weekend. The event is aimed at honoring active service members and veterans, as well as remembering those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Participants will have the opportunity to run on a flat, fast and well-surfaced course, starting and ending at the Museum. The last quarter mile of the race will be through the Flags of Freedom, adding an emotional touch to the event. Timing will be done by McDuffie Timing of West Monroe.

All proceeds from the race will go directly to CAMM, supporting its mission to honor and preserve military history. Free tours of the Museum will also be available during and after the 5K/1K events. Visitors can also explore the Museum's new Aviation Park & Pavilion, where they can see some of the planes on display.

For those who wish to contribute further, there is an option to sponsor one of the Flags of Freedom during the last quarter mile of the course.
This event is a crucial fundraiser for the Museum and the active service members/veterans it serves.

If you have any questions about this race, please contact the race director at runfortheredwhiteblue@gmail.com. Join us in honoring our heroes this Memorial Day weekend.
