New Iona Presbyterian Church is digging deeper into the issues migrants face. The Presbyterian church's synod is focusing on issues along the U.S. southern border. The West Monroe church will be holding a forum on reasons for the migration, solutions for the migrants, and the concept of migration from a biblical standpoint.
The forum will be moderated by the former pastor George Wortham. Wortham spent time as a missionary to South America and Scotland.
The event will be held at New Iona at 6 p.m., July 12 at 1403 Wellerman Road in West Monroe.
