The City of Monroe hosted several events to kick off the fall season in Northeast Louisiana.
Saturday October 26th, the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo hosted Boo at the Zoo a free family event to celebrate Halloween. The event featured a trick or treat time for children, a costume contest, live animals, and plenty of candy.
On November 2nd the Masur Museum of Art presented Historic Haunts, a 1920s inspired guided ghost tour. Patrons stepped back into history exploring three of Monroe's most iconic spaces the Layton castle, Masur Museum of Art and the Cooly House.
The ULM Warhawks prepare to take on Texas State at home this Saturday. Kickoff is at a 11am and tailgating will take place in the Grove before the game as the Alumni Association host the 39th annual Don Weems Memorial Chili- Cookoff.
