Black Creatives Circle of North Louisiana to Host "For Lack of Knowledge" Art Exhibition

The Black Creatives Circle of North Louisiana will present the For Lack of Knowledge Art Exhibition, a meaningful event aimed at sparking conversation and reflection. The exhibition, which aligns with the December installment of the Downtown Gallery Crawl, will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Upstairs Gallery. The event will take place December 28.

For Lack of Knowledge originally focused on AIDS and HIV awareness and education but has since evolved into a publication. The book explores the intersection of art and HIV awareness, showcasing how creativity can challenge stigma and foster education within the community.

The exhibition will feature both text and artwork designed to inspire thought and provoke change. Visitors can expect to engage with powerful themes that encourage new perspectives on social issues.

Copies of the For Lack of Knowledge book are available for $39.99 through the HEROES organization’s website. The event will also provide an opportunity to learn more about the organization's impact and commitment to the arts.
