Saturday, December 14, local bluesman D.K. Harrell and Friends will present a Christmas Blues Spectacular at the Dixie Center in Ruston.
Harrell, an emerging blues artist from Ruston, Louisiana, is dedicated to preserving the traditional blues created and performed by legends such as B.B. King, Little Milton, and other great blues artists.
Joining Harrell are local musicians including Mr. Taylormade, Ira Barger, Zebulun Matthew Payne, Itsclararae, Monty Russell, Kirby Rambin, Clay LeBlanc, Dave P. Moore, and Andy Richardson.
The show begins at 7 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Dixie Center for the Arts.
