Experience the holidays with the city of West Monroe

The City of West Monroe announces events for the 2024 holiday season.

On Friday, December 13, children can participate in the Children's Lighted Bike Parade. Participants may decorate bikes, wagons, and battery-powered cars for the parade. Entry is $5, and the parade begins at 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday, December 14, Downtown West Monroe presents the Christmas Market on the Alley from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature local artisans, makers, holiday treats, and live music. A free outdoor holiday movie will be shown downtown on Friday, December 20, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Entry is free, but participants should bring their own chairs.Experience the holidays with Downtown West Monroe

Ongoing activities include the Land of Lights Holiday Display, a free downtown walk-through located on Cotton Street in West Monroe. Antique Alley will have extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays throughout December, along with Wagon Tours Through the Lights. Wagon tours are offered every Friday and Saturday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tours are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Proceeds benefit Downtown West Monroe.
