Strauss Theatre presents blues artist Buffalo Nichols

The Strauss Theatre Center of Monroe will present Delta blues artist Buffalo Nichols on Friday, Dec. 20.

Carl "Buffalo" Nichols, a Milwaukee-based musician, is revitalizing the blues with his powerful baritone voice and intricate guitar work. Blending tradition with modern influences, his music explores themes of love, loss, and human complexity.

Nichols honors the roots of the blues while offering a fresh take, resonating with both longtime fans and new listeners. Known for his authenticity and storytelling, he has become a standout in today’s music scene, captivating audiences with emotionally charged performances.

Tickets are $35. The show begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m.
