The 9th Annual Women's Symposium will be held Tuesday, March 11, at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM).
Keynote speakers include Lissy Compton, U.S. Rep. Julia Letlow, and Melanie Massey, along with 31 additional community panelists. These panelists will discuss topics in Arts, Education and Science; Business and Social Sciences; Health Sciences; and Women's Health.
Community awards and student scholarships will be presented throughout the day as speakers share their personal and professional journeys, highlighting how they have navigated challenges and celebrated accomplishments.
The symposium aims to empower, motivate, and encourage women and girls of all backgrounds, educational levels, and career paths to pursue their passions and take on leadership roles. It also seeks to embrace and support all individuals, regardless of gender, for the betterment of society.
