Northeast Louisiana Children's Museum present annual Easter Village

The Northeast Louisiana Children's Museum will host their annual Easter Village from April 9th-19th. Activities for the village will take place indoors and outdoors. Arts and crafts, bubbles, learning programs are just a few of the festivities the museum offers in their Easter Village.

Along with the village, the Children's Museum will host two special events. On April 11 they present a dinner theater called Peanut Butter and Jellybean Dinner. This entails a fun and interactive dinner theater for not only children, but adults as well.

The following day, the museum will provide a Bunny and Me Breakfast. It allows children to come in their bunny costumes and for families to take pictures with the Easter bunny.

Dawn Landry, the development director at the Children's Museum, talked about her excitement for the Easter Village, and what the community can expect from the special events.

"We just basically turn it into another spring wonderland," says Landry when talking about the Easter Village. When speaking about the Peanut Butter and Jellybean Dinner she states, "It's hard to explain how fun it is, you just have to come enjoy it as a family."

The Northeast Louisiana Children's Museum is a museum that caters to all age groups. Their exhibits allow for children to explore places like the White House, a cafe, augmented reality sandbox, and a hospital. They also offer special services such as birthday parties, field trips, summer camps, and more.

The museum also provides various outreach and STEM programs for children as well.

More information about the museum and how to get tickets for the Easter Village can be found at nelcm.org.
