U.S. Senator David Vitter and state Representative John Bel Edwards will take part in one of two live debates tonight. The Council for a Better Louisiana and Louisiana Public Broadcasting host a debate from the LPB studios in Baton Rouge.
KEDM Public Radio, along with other media outlets around the state, will carry the debate live at 7 p.m.
The debate features an in-depth discussion of several of the major issues facing Louisiana. Questions will be posed by a panel of reporters and the candidates will also question each other on the issues being discussed.
