Meet the Candidates Forum Set for Oct. 13

Meet the Candidates for one of Louisiana's Senate seats on Tuesday, October 13 at Louisiana Delta Community College. The event will begin at 6 p.m. in the LDCC Community Room. 

Candidates will each make an opening statement, answer a limited number of questions, and make a closing statement as to why he or she can best represent Louisiana in Washington, D.C. The event will be moderated by KEDM News and Public Affairs Director Cory Crowe.

 
 
The event will also be broadcast on 90.3FM KEDM Public Radio, online at KEDM.org, and streamed via Facebook.

Seating is limited and a mask is required for entry due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The event is presented by 90.3 KEDM Public Radio, the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, the West Monroe West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce, and Louisiana Delta Community College.

Jay Curtis is a dynamic community leader who works to tell the unique stories of northeast Louisiana through news and music. Jay earned a Bachelor of Arts in Radio/TV/Film Production from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and worked in video, feature film and television production for over 10 years before joining KEDM full time.
