Chronic Wasting Disease

Chronic Wasting Disease has been suspected to be found in a white-tailed deer harvested near Newellton, Louisiana. The harvested animal received a preliminary positive test result from the Louisiana Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory at Louisiana State University.
