During Mardi Gras 2023, the City of New Orleans reports 1,162 tons (2.5 million pounds) of trash was transported to the landfill in 11 days.

Krewe's from the area announced plans for the carnival season

Downtown West Monroe has partnered with the West Monroe West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce to present a free scavenger hunt activity from now until Thursday, February 24 to encourage people to shop and visit downtown.

The City of West Monroe has announced the following street closures for the Krewe de Riviere Mardi Gras Parade to be held on Saturday, February 12.

The Greatest Sheaux, the Krewe de Riviere is coming to the Twin Cities with 18 floats and 40 units, including a fire-breather.

The annual Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras Parade is set to roll into The Twin Cities on February 19th at 6:00 p.m.
