Northeast Louisiana Music Trail

The Northeast Louisiana Music Trail will unveil a marker honoring the Savoy Ballroom in the historic 1929 Miller-Roy building.

Spokesperson Zach Furman said Lewis died Friday morning at his Mississippi home near Memphis.

August's concert is a tribute show to West Monroe native, Webb Pierce. Pierce was a popular honky-tonk vocalist, songwriter and guitarist in the 1950s.

The Northeast Louisiana Music Trail honors Gene King in the second unveiling of a marker following Fred Carter Jr.

Carter will be honored with a monument unveiling at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
