Today the University of Louisiana Monroe unveiled its new football field house. The $4.1 million facility was paid for by private donations.

The building houses football offices, locker room and showers, conference room, video area and reception. A "Hall of History" connects the new building to Malone Stadium.

Head Football Coach Coach Matt Viator said, "It's really a great addition. We were able to get the players a new locker room during the Summer II session, and they have really enjoyed being in the new area." Viator explained that the facility is good for current players and will be a help for recruiting.

Alec Osborn, ULM tight end, said "There is a new attitude with the new coaching staff." He said the new facility also helps the football team setup a new mindset.

The Warhawks begin the season at home on September 3rd with Southern University.
