The body of 22 year old Scottie Wesley of West Monroe was recovered from the Ouachita River late Thursday morning. West Monroe Police confirmed Wesley's identity Thursday afternoon.
According to witnesses, Wesley jumped from the bridge around 11 a.m. Wednesday. Police dive teams conducted a search of the immediate area of the river. The body was located through sonar equipment used by the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office Thursday morning.
