Wow! Thanks to you, KEDM will provide books to every second grade student in schools in twelve schools in Ouachita, Lincoln, and Union Parishes that are part of the United Way's Read. Learn. Succeed. program!

Thanks to you, KEDM staff and volunteers will deliver over a thousand books before the holiday break. These books will enlighten and inspire young readers, as well as help build home libraries.

Over 77 percent of public school fourth graders in Louisiana are unable to read at grade level according to The Children’s Defense Fund. The third-grade reading level is widely recognized as a key indicator of a child’s future educational success.

Food service and reception begins 11:30 a.m. and program at 12 noon at the University of Louisiana Monroe Library Conference Center.

Join us at the 90.3 KEDM Annual Meeting on Thursday, August 18! We'll look back at the year's accomplishments and look forward to what KEDM can do in Fiscal Year 2017 to improve the quality of life in northeast Louisiana.
